Rural Online Counselling Services

Counsellor: Kimberly Duquette, RSW, BSW

Conversations, connection and understanding. Online counselling to meet you where you are at. I take the time to get to know you, your life and your experiences. I love supporting people who live in rural or remote areas or whose needs are better met with virtual counselling.

At Prairie Stone Counselling, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and professional support. My mission as an experienced counsellor is to enhance clients' mental well-being through personalized counselling services that address anxiety, depression, relationships, stress and other personal and family issues.

If you are an adult looking for virtual counselling services where you will be listened to, and supported while working through your concerns, my support is for you. I also provide specialized support for agricultural producers and farm families or people living in rural or remote locations, looking for virtual service. Virtual therapy allows me to provide services to you from your home or farm. I work to make your session focused on your goals, plans and concerns. Therapy can be a place to talk things through, problem-solve or plan based on your unique experiences and situation.

Offering experienced, compassionate service to female youth ages 16-18 to help work through difficult times, anxiety, depression, school, social or relationship challenges. I'm an experienced student and child and youth counsellor, allowing me the privilege of being a supportive part of my youth clients' journeys.
Please reach me at kimberly@prairiestonecounselling.ca if you can't find an answer to your question.
Most insurance benefit providers cover my social worker services. Please check with your plan.
I can direct bill to Canada Life, Sun Life, Blue Cross and many other insurance companies. Or I can provide you a receipt and you can submit to your plan for reimbursement.
The rate for counselling services is $155.00/hour
I accept payment via e-transfer or credit card.
You can schedule a free 15 minute phone or virtual consultation with me and we can discuss what area of life you are looking for help in or what your challenge is. We can discuss how or if I can be of support in that area. This brief conversation also allows you to see if you feel I would be a good fit for you as a counsellor
I provide supportive professional counselling for anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation and family, relationship or parenting issues and other issues. Counselling can be a place to talk through personal issues in a confidential setting with a professional with an open non-judgmental perspective. I cannot fix your problems, but I can be alongside and support as you work through them.
I use a confidential, reliable online counselling system called 'Jane', which will send you a video link for your session.

At Prairie Stone Counselling, I believe that everyone has the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance.

I offer a variety of counselling services to meet the unique needs of my clients, including individual therapy for adults as well as I specialize in supporting youth ages 16 and older. I love to provide service to those working in the agriculture industry who may be new to therapy and this may be the first time they have accepted support from a counsellor.

As an experienced therapist I use a client-centered approach, working collaboratively with my clients to identify their goals and develop a plan to work towards them. I also place a strong emphasis on building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.
Please feel free to call me with any questions or to book a free 15 minute phone or video consultation
